Six Fragments From The Ballet "Romeo and Juliet" Transcriptions For Violin & Piano By Ruben Kosemyan
Sheet music, 25 pages. 2022
To create transcriptions of S. Prokofiev's music for the ballet "Romeo and Juliet, fragments were chosen that have not yet been arranged for violin and piano.
On the one hand, the fragments are arranged in the order of the characteristic musical and plot development leading to the climax of the work, and on the other hand, they are selected as an alternation of diverse pieces, which helps to keep the audience's attention during the concert performance of the entire suite.
In fact, the proposed Six Fragments are conceived as a single cycle, each piece of which, however, can be performed separately, as an independent work.
